When You Are Complaining About Snow....
A week or two ago a young elephant, who goes by the name of "Hercules", drove away and escaped from 14 female lions at the South Luangwa National Park. This National Park is located in Eastern Africa, where events like this do not usually happen. The female lions surrounded Hercules and it appeared that would be the end for the young elephant. The lions pounced and for most of the fight are on top of Hercules. Hercules was having none of it though. He charges the lions multiple times to show that he would not be defeated. The fight continued in the water, which seems to be a good idea by Hercules. There is one well know fact about cats, no matter how big they are. They hate water with a passion. Hercules begins crossing the river and the lions do the unthinkable. They go into the water. Hercules spots them and makes one more final charge to drive them away. Elephants 1 lions 0.
If You Are Still Complaining About Snow.....
Late in October, 17 lions were defeated by one of the most fearsome animals out there, the porcupine. At Londolozi Game Reserve in South Africa, a porcupine fended off a group of lions. This porcupine knew that he was in a bad predicament when surrounded by the large group of lions. This little guy was quick to come up with a solution to his problem. He puffed up his quills to make himself seem bigger than he actually was. Fun fact, if you are ever in a situation were you encounter a lion of any kind, you should hold your arms up high. Lions don't usually attack animals that are big or look challenging to fight. This porcupine makes himself look big to fend off the lions. Basically, the lions had a very bad couple of weeks. Hopefully they can get a victory against the Cardinals today, in Arizona.
